15/06/12 Vietnam officially bans the use of products from tiger farms

The Prime Minister's Office has just issued a correspondence to relevant ministries officially
upholding the ban on use of tiger products from farms. This is a great victory for tigers
following a proposal by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development CITES office that
would have opened the door for trade of products from farms, and called on expansion of
tiger farming activities in Vietnam.
